| Thallus pale olive-green, minutely subtuberculate, dull. Ascomata black, conspicuous, scattered, immersed to erumpent, straight, curved or sinuous, often irregularly branched, 1–4 (–5) mm long, 0.1–0.3 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple completely carbonised, thinner at the base. Hymenium 100–140 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 2 per ascus, muriform, (50–) 56–72 × 18–24 µm, I+ blue-violet. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |
